Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JuneAI collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are committed to transparency and keeping your information secure.

Last updated: June 19, 2026

1Data Collection

When you create a JuneAI account, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, company name, and billing information. This data is necessary to deliver our services and communicate with you about your account.

We automatically collect usage data when you interact with JuneAI - including pages visited, features used, actions taken within the dashboard, session duration, and error reports. This telemetry helps us identify bugs, improve performance, and understand how our product is used.

We also collect device and connection information: IP address, browser type, operating system version, and referring URLs. This data is used for security, fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics. We do not sell this data to third parties.

2How We Use Your Data

We use your data to operate and improve JuneAI. This includes provisioning your account, processing payments, delivering license activations, responding to support requests, and sending transactional emails (receipts, renewal notices, security alerts).

With your consent, we may send product updates, newsletters, and promotional communications. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time via the link in any email or through your account preferences.

We use aggregated, de-identified usage data to train and improve our AI-powered features. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

We never sell your personal data. Your information is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for commercial purposes beyond what is necessary to operate our service.

3License Data & Payments

JuneAI stores metadata about the software licenses you manage on our platform - including license keys (encrypted), activation history, expiration dates, and assigned users. This data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3.

Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. JuneAI does not store full credit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. We retain billing address, last four digits of the card, card type, and transaction history for accounting and dispute resolution purposes.

License activation logs are retained for a minimum of 90 days and up to 7 years for Enterprise customers, to support compliance audits. Customers can export their full license history from the dashboard at any time.

Desktop applications licensed through JuneAI (such as our custom-built workflow tools) send a device identifier generated by the operating system each time the license is validated. This identifier is used solely to enforce the single-device license terms agreed at purchase and is not linked to any other personal data beyond the associated license key.

4Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our platform, remember your preferences, maintain your authenticated session, and analyze how the platform is used. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser.

Essential cookies are required for core functionality - login sessions, CSRF protection, and security tokens. These cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies help us understand feature usage and improve the product. Preference cookies remember your dashboard settings and display preferences.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or through JuneAI's cookie preferences panel. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the platform.

5Third-Party Services

JuneAI uses a limited set of third-party sub-processors to deliver our service. Each processor is bound by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and required to maintain security standards no less protective than our own. Our key sub-processors include Stripe (payments), Vercel (application hosting), Supabase (database infrastructure), and Resend (transactional email).

If you integrate JuneAI with third-party platforms, we access only the minimum permissions required to deliver the integration. We do not store third-party access tokens beyond the duration needed for the requested operation.

A complete and up-to-date list of sub-processors is available on request. Enterprise customers will be notified of any changes to our sub-processor list with at least 14 days advance notice.

6Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is held for a 30-day grace period during which you may reactivate your account and recover your data. After 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted from our production systems.

Certain data is subject to longer retention periods required by applicable law. Financial records (invoices, payment history) are retained for 7 years. Security logs and audit trails for Enterprise accounts are retained according to the terms specified in your enterprise agreement.

Backup copies of data may persist in encrypted form for up to 90 days after deletion from production systems. These backups are not accessible for normal operations and are subject to strict access controls.

7Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks). These rights may include: the right to access your personal data, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to request deletion of your data, and the right to data portability.

Access & Portability

Request a full export of your data in a machine-readable format at any time from your account settings.

Correction

Update or correct your personal information directly in your profile settings, or contact our privacy team.

Deletion

Request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data. We will action this within 30 days.

Objection & Restriction

Object to or restrict certain types of processing, including direct marketing and profiling, at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@juneai.ca. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request. In some cases we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

8Children's Privacy

JuneAI's services are intended for business use and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including by our infrastructure sub-processors. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the sub-processor's own compliance certifications and contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses, where applicable) to ensure your data continues to receive an equivalent level of protection.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. Material changes will be notified via email to account holders or a prominent notice on this site at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most current version. Continued use of JuneAI after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service, including its governing law and dispute resolution provisions.
